Half Marathon

Saturday was an exciting day for Connor.  Our local YMCA hosted their second Kid's Half Marathon.  Basically, the kids run 12.1 miles or do enough activities that would equal 12.1 miles.  Then on a specified day they all get together and run the final mile.  It was suppose to be outside at the local university but boy was it cold today!  So, it was moved inside one of the gyms.  It worked out very well.  Connor had a blast and did very well.  Of course, no pictures.  Our old camera batter is now dead (from zoo trip), and I can't charge it.  Lovely!

After the 1/2 marathon, we headed to a local Italian restaurant for some pizza for  the boys and stromboli for my MIL and myself.  We just LOVE to eat there.  Then, back home for naps for the boys and then back out for supper with my SIL at another one of our favorite restaurants.  We waited almost 45 minutes to get a table (we got there at 4:50!!).  Considering how long we waited to sit down and then to eat, all three boys (ranging from 8 months to 5) were great.  Then we headed to get donuts for breakfast Sunday morning.

Fun-filled day.  Now, we are waiting for Aaron to arrive back from Belize.  That is why I haven't had my camera.  Aaron and his sister, brother and dad all went to Belize to do adventurous stuff for 4 days.  He should be home later tonight.  I'll post on his adventures soon.
