Busy Saturday

Our morning started off pretty slow.  Since Connor's soccer game wasn't until 12:00, we were able to take it easy for the first part of the day.  We weren't really sure if Connor was going to play or not.  He's being going through a stage where he will refuse to go out and play.  So, Aaron told him today was the day that he needed to decide if he was going to play or not.  If he wasn't, we were done for the season.  He played the 1st and 3rd quarter.  The 3rd quarter he played goalie.  He did spectacular considering I don't really think he knew what he was doing at first.  But, if I remember correctly he caught about 4 of the balls and only 1 or 2 made it in the goal. 

Today was also Healthy Kids Day at the Y.  So, when we got finished with the game we headed over to the other side of the Y to check out all of the stuff over there.  Blake especially loved the little petting zoo.  We didn't stick around very long.  It was nap time for both kids, and they both needed bathes before that because when they got up from nap we were headed to a birthday party.

Connor has a friend, Jaxson, from MDO that invited him to his party at the Bounce Zone.  It is a really fun place for a party.  They had 4 of their gigantic blow up houses/mazes blown up for the kids.  Blake even had a great time.  Blake chowed down on his cake and ice cream.  Of course, Connor really didn't eat that much. 

Now home, two kids in bed (well, Connor is watching a movie in my bed) and I think I'm headed that way as well or maybe I'll read a book.  Haven't decided that yet.
